Our website is aimed at raising the profile of the Southland Holden Enthusiasts Club.
In this site we have a bit about the Club its purpose and a photo gallery of some of the club members
cars plus a upcoming events page. So please go ahead and browse the site to see what were up to!
The aim of the club is to organize one event a month for the year except January.
One of the events for the year will be a major event usually a show or a overnight run.
Our other events range from Car trials, Bus trips, attending shows run by other clubs, etc.
The club has a meeting the first Thusday of every month at 7.00pm at Makarewa Country Clubl.
Our AGM is held at the start of November.

2017 is the year that Holden will stop its Australian manufacturing operations. The final day of production will be Friday 20 October 2017.
Just to update everyone with some information that has come to hand. The shutdown of the factory is staggered and will close down in sections.
Oct 3-4, Stamping Plant closes.
Oct 11, Body Shop finishes its last body.
Oct 18, General Assembly finishes its last car.
Oct 20, No actual shifts, workers, guests arrive around 9am for ceremonial event to watch the last cars drive off the line. Workers and are then bused to a function off-site.
Please come join other Holden enthusiasts in their Australian made Holden at Holden Vehicle Operations (H.V.O)Elizabeth, as we park our cars outside in honour of the final day of production.

18th November Overnight trip to Dunedin leaving at 8am for Taieri train trip at 2.30pm
19th November Otago Hospice car show and cruise before heading home
7th December Xmas get together at Makarewa Country Club 6pm for a meal followed by monthly meeting at 7pm
